$4,000 Raised for ace the stigma at the 2025 queen city paddle battle tournament
The 2025 Queen City Paddle Battle honored Ace the Stigma as its primary beneficiary, raising $4,000 to support mental health awareness through the power of sport.
A huge THANK YOU goes out to our generous sponsors—Bonded Logistics, Piedmont Capital, Baird Wealth Management, Floyd McMillan Scott Group, and Dickens‑Mitchener—for making this event possible.
Held December 12–14 at Olde Providence Racquet Club, the tournament brought together players and guests for a weekend of spirited competition across women’s, men’s, and mixed divisions. The celebration continued with a lively Saturday evening party featuring dinner, music, and a wine tasting by Donelan Wines, making it a memorable showcase of community, camaraderie, and purpose.
Platform tennis is a fast-paced racquet sport played on a smaller, raised court surrounded by wire screens, allowing players to hit the ball off the walls. Olde Providence Racquet Club (OPRC) is the only prominent facility near Charlotte, NC, offering this unique type of play.
